| 1) Wedding Car Hire Services
All of the Chauffer Driven Wedding Car services are subject to the Terms and Conditions laid out below. A complete description of the Chauffer Driven Wedding Car Hire services and it’s accompanying pricing is contained both on the Berkshire Classic Wedding Cars website and also in our Wedding Car Services brochure.
2) Car Hire Bookings
Bookings can be made by Debit card or Credit card (either Visa or MasterCard). Credit card bookings are subject to a 3% handling charge. Bookings will be confirmed in writing on clearance of the payment. A non refundable deposit of 25% of the hire charge will be due at time of booking, with the balance of the hire charge being payable a minimum of 35days before the hire date. Bookings made within 60 days of the hire date require to be paid in full at time of booking . Bookings with a value of £100.00 or less require to be paid in full at time of booking.
3) Quotation and Provisional Booking
At the customers request, Berkshire Classic Wedding Cars will produce a formal Wedding Services quotation and provisionally reserve the requested car (s) based on the customers requirements. The quotation and provisional booking is valid for 5 days from the quote date, after which time, if not taken up by the customer, the quotation and provisional car(s) booking will be cancelled.
4) Advance Full Payment Discount Option
For customers who would prefer to settle the hire charge in full at time of booking, a 2.5% discount will be deducted from the total hire charge. This option applies to hire bookings made 60 days or greater before the hire date.
5) Booking Cancellations
Cancellations are only accepted in writing. In the event of a booking being cancelled the following charges will apply.
Cancellation within 120 days of the Wedding date, 50% of the total hire balance is payable.
Cancellation within 60 days of the Wedding date, 100% of the total hire balance is payable.
6) Wedding Car Hire Period
For dual venue Weddings, where the Official ceremony and the Reception are at different locations, the zone 1 hire period is 3.5 hours time from the time of leaving our garage in White Waltham to returning to the garage.
For single venue Weddings, where the Official ceremony and the Reception are at the same location, the zone 1 hire period is 2.5 hours from the time of leaving our garage in White Waltham to returning to the garage.
Additional hours are charged at £50.00 per hour.
7) Car Choice Availability
In the event of a booked car being unavailable due to problems beyond our control, the Vendor will inform the Hirer and offer a suitable alternative car for the same date or a full refund. If we are unable to complete the booking for whatever reason we will not be held responsible or liable for any arising consequential losses and any liability on our part will be limited to the money paid by the hirer.
In terms of our Classic Wedding cars, in the event of bad weather, being either snow, ice or flooding, we reserve the right at our discretion to change the Classic Car booked and replace it with a modern Jaguar saloon.
8) Personal Property
We are only responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in the Wedding vehicle if the loss or damage results from our negligence. Any vehicle or personal property left on Berkshire Classic Car Hire’s premises is entirely at your own risk.
9) Customer Acceptance
By making a booking whether in writing, by telephone or email, the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions. The Hirer will be required to sign our standard Wedding Car Hire Agreement forms.
